Road closure in place following crash near B&Q Roundabout

Update 11:30pm The road is taped off from the B&Q roundabout to the Plas Coch retail park roundabout. A silver car is parked along with a small lorry, however it is unclear if they were involved in the incident, although the car has a smashed windscreen . Investigation work is taking place.

It is believed a person has been struck by a vehicle.

The road is expected to reopen around 11pm.

Emergency services are currently in attendance a crash near the B&Q Roundabout

The incident has reportedly taken place towards the Plas Coch direction, with Genevieve telling us that ambulances are in attendance.

There is are delays on the B5101, with traffic backing up from B&Q Roundabout towards Stansty Bridge.

North Wales Police have confirmed that the B5101 Plas Coch Road is closed as a result of the incident.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area or find alternative routes.
