Death of 48-Year-Old Woman From Cefn Y Bedd ‘Not Suspicious’

North Wales Police have today confirmed they are not treating the death of a woman in Cefn Y Bedd as suspicious.

Just after 9pm last night there were reports of emergency services activity in the Cefn Y Bedd area – with one witnesses stating that there were police, an ambulance, a forensics van and yellow tape outside one property.

North Wales Police have confirmed that on Friday 8th July officers had commenced an investigation following the death of a 48 year old woman from the Cefn y Bedd.

The woman had been admitted to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital with a head injury early that day.

North Wales Police can confirm that following investigation, they are not treating this incident as suspicious.

The coroner has been informed.
