Dawn of a new era! Resurfacing works almost complete on Tesco Roundabout
A new era is upon us, with resurfacing works on the Tesco Roundabout almost complete.
Earlier this year it was announced that the long-called for works on the potholes / consistently bumpy bit of road were finally being filled in and re-tarmacked.
Six nights of work at the roundabout started on October 13th and are still ongoing between 8pm and 6am. However a drive past earlier today shows the much anticipated resurfacing of the road is nearly complete.
The now infamous potholes and their re-patching have been a gripe, frustration and the subject of ongoing complaints for many motorists across Wrexham over the past 12 months.
News that the stretch of road was being resurfaced was welcomed by motorists in Wrexham, who have long called for the potholes to be filled in (not to mention the many light hearted comments made about the reappearing potholes!)

Just driven around the Tesco roundabout in @wrexham. That pothole’s nowhere near as bad as everyone says it is! I recorded it, as evidence… pic.twitter.com/XVmdT6Uj3s
