Fans of Wrexham FC will get to join in the celebrations of Wrexham’s FA Trophy win at Wembley when an open top bus parade takes to the town centre in just over a month from now.

A provisional date has been set for Saturday May 11th, just under a week after the Blue Square Premier Play-Off Final at Wembley which may yet involve the Reds.

A Council spokesperson said: “Discussions are still ongoing with the football club and fans will be notified when the arrangements are finalised.”

It is believed the parade will cost the council around £5000, a figure mooted at the town centre forum earlier this morning.
