Curry night for Hospice hailed as ‘great success’
The Anise Indian restaurant have hosted another hugely successful Curry Night to raise funds for the towns much loved hospice, Nightingale House.
The restaurant donated proceeds of the food sales from around 90 guests to support the work of the charity. Guests were also wowed at the table side by local magician Paul Roberts whom was on hand all night to help make it a truly magical evening.
Manager Robb Golam said: “We’re so grateful to everyone that supported the evening and to the Mayor of Wrexham for his attendance along with the Mayoress, Bev. We will always do all we can to support the work of the hospice, growing up in the town we’ve sadly known many people that have needed their wonderful service and it makes us all the more keen to help out. ”
The hospice has also launched ‘Care for a Curry’ the perfect way to fundraise at home or at work if you love Anise food and support the work of Nightingale House. For more information on this initiative please contact the hospice.
Hospice fundraiser, Luke commented: “As always at the Anise it was a great night with top food and fab company. We can’t thank the Anise enough for all they do to support us.”
Over the years many thousands of pounds have now been raised for the hospice and local causes by the restaurant.
