North Wales Crusaders will this week be hosting transatlantic rugby league team, Toronto at the Queensway Stadium in Wrexham.

The historic meeting at 5pm on Friday 14th April will be the first ever between the two sides as they battle it out in their round five fixture of the 2017 Kingstone Press League 1.

North Wales Crusaders, will go into the the clash on the back of three consecutive wins – including a League 1 Cup victory which sees them reach the semi-finals. However, Friday’s game will prove to be an extremely tough challenge as they come up against the Canadian outfit.

Toronto are newcomers into the league, but don’t plan on sticking around as they have assembled a full-time squad which is packed with talented players as they look to gain promotion in their first ever season.

The Wolfpack play their home games in the Lamport Stadium, Canada, and have already enjoyed an unbeaten start to their league campaign, as well as an impressive run in the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

There will also be a local derby curtain raiser as the Flintshire Falcons take on the Chester Gladiators at the Queensway, kicking off at 2pm.

Friday’s match between the Welsh and Canadian outfits promises to be a fantastic game with plenty of talent on show. Tickets for this unmissable game are priced at just £10 adults, £7 Super League season ticket holders and FREE for under 16’s.

Tickets can be purchased online via the link below or you can pay on the gate:
