Six crews are at the scene of a fire at the Horseshoe Pass this afternoon with members of the public once again being urged to stay away from the mountainside.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service say its crews are working in difficult circumstances and dealing with hotspots and fire around the Ponderosa area.

An update provided shortly after 5:30pm states that the Horseshoe Pass Road is closed.

A reminder to the public to stay away from the mountainside.

Earlier today Wrexham.com reported that drone footage had been released showing the extent of the fire and damage crews have been tackling since the end of July.
