Tenants are being encouraged to sign up to a free email information service provided by Wrexham Council.

The service is designed to provide regular news updates for Council tenants, including information on upcoming improvement work to their properties, advice on housing issues, news alerts, special offers, events and competitions.

Lead Member for Housing, Cllr Ian Roberts, said: “This is a great new way for tenants to receive up to date news about their housing service. This is a very busy year for Housing in Wrexham with thousands of properties receiving improvement work and significant changes such as Universal Credit being introduced.

“There are also a number of events being planned for the summer such as environmental action days where Housing Officers will be going out in the communities to speak to tenants about any housing issues affecting them and also help them dispose of bulky waste items and rubbish from their properties.

“I would encourage all Council tenants to sign up and make the most of this free service.”

Tenants can sign up for the service by visiting the Council’s website and register their details into the ‘email updates’ box and selecting ‘tenants news’ from the list.
