A Continental Food Market showcasing some of the best cuisines Europe has to offer is currently visiting Wrexham Town Centre.

The food market will spend the next three days on Queens Square and features delicacies from France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Holland and many more countries.

Many of the products on sale come from each stall holder’s region, where they are produced by small organisations (family businesses, farms, small factories) using traditional methods.

On offer at the market are: delectable cheeses, sausages, breads, tartiflette (a delicious cheese and potatoes dish from the Alps), charcuterie and so on!

For those with a sweet tooth, there are plenty of sugary and tasty snacks avaialable, including crepes, Turkish Delight, sweets and cakes. We personally opted for the pick and mix choice of Italian biscuits!

As well as food the market also showcases home made crafts, with items such as bracelets, clothing, lavender soaps, children’s toys and dream catchers on sale.

For those who fancy popping down – the market will be on Queens Square until Saturday 13th September.
