Coleg Cambria Staff On Hand To Give Advice About GCSE Results

Coleg Cambria has seen hundreds of youngsters flock through its doors after gaining their GCSE results this morning.

Coleg Cambria Deeside, Northop, Llysfasi and Wrexham Training were open for youngsters to present confirmation of their grades for courses starting in September, and also to provide advice on training and further education options still available for those who had not yet decided on their next steps.

Coleg Cambria Yale learners were also busy contacting the college with their results in order to confirm their places or to apply for any remaining places on courses.

Coleg Cambria Principal & Chief Executive, David Jones said: “GCSE results day is very busy for us as prospective students confirm their grades and places for September.  Having already received over 11,000 applications for September, the college is looking forward to very busy and successful year.

“Although not everybody gets the grades that they may have been hoping for we have plenty of staff on hand to provide guidance on the many options available to them. Our advice to anybody still unsure of what they want to do next year or who has not got the grades that they had been hoping for, is to contact the college and we will be able to help them in making the right decisions.”

Coleg Cambria Deeside, Northop, Llysfasi and Wrexham Training will remain open tomorrow (Friday 23rd August) to provide advice and guidance between 10am and 3pm. Coleg Cambria Yale Grove Park will be open on August 27th and 28th from 10am-7pm.
