A wide range of new full time courses which will allow students to begin their studies in January rather than September, have launched at Coleg Cambria.

The new courses, delivered at both the Yale and Deeside campuses, will enable students who have disengaged from their current course, sixth form or training, or dropped out altogether, to enrol for an intensive six month course, running from this month until June.

Full time courses include Pathway into Engineering, Preparing to Work in Sales and Marketing, Creative Industries: Live Events, and many others.

The college will also be offering many part time adult courses in the new year, along with a new degree level course; HNC in Hair and Beauty Management.

Principal at Coleg Cambria, Sue Price, said: “School leavers are faced with so many options when they leave school, it’s no surprise that they often find themselves sometimes making the wrong decision.

“It’s important that they have high quality options available throughout the year- not just in September.”
