Coleg Cambria Charity Fun Run

Coleg Cambria Computing and IT students have taken part in a two mile fun run to raise funds for charity.

Coleg Cambria Deputy Director of Curriculum Computing and IT, Nigel Holloway and IT Lecturer Graham Goulbourne accompanied thirty two students to Acton Park in Wrexham to run two laps of the park in fancy dress. The event was organised as part of Coleg Cambria’s Social Enterprise week.

The group aimed to raise £400 but managed to raise an amazing total of £761 for North East Wales Hospices.

This year the College’s chosen charity was North East Wales Hospices (Hope House, St Kentigern’s and Nightingale House Hospice).

Coleg Cambria Deputy Director of Curriculum Computing and IT, Nigel Holloway said: “This was an excellent fun afternoon raising money for a worthwhile cause. At the end of the run the students couldn’t stop smiling – well done to all involved!”
