Coleg Cambria have continued their successful partnership with Swansea University to offer more high quality degrees in North East Wales.
The partnership builds on the flagship programme of Engineering degrees at Coleg Cambria in partnership with Airbus and Swansea University.
For this Autumn, the College is offering foundation and bachelor degrees in Applied Business Management and Advanced Manufacturing; working closely with Swansea University lecturers and teams to develop employment focussed courses enabling learners who are seeking careers or those in work already who want to up-skill.
Higher apprenticeship options are also available for these courses.
Working closely with companies such as Toyota UK, Qioptiq, Magellan Aerospace and Granada Material Handling, a new Undergraduate Development Programme (UDP) has been designed to incorporate both the academic rigour of a Foundation Degree (Fd) / Bachelors of Engineering (BEng) programme linked to a planned Work Based programme that supports the development of the requirement for future skilled Advanced Manufacturing Engineers within these industries.
Typical units studied within the Cambria Engineering University Centre include, Advanced Engineering methods, Computer Aided Manufacturing and Robotics.
