Work tidying and removing litter from the Llan-Y-Pwll Link Road link road will start next week.

The works, which will take place between the roundabouts near JCB and the Gresford Interchange, are expected to last two weeks.

Wrexham Council say that during that period workers will be sweeping the area, litter picking, gully cleaning and carrying out repairs where necessary.

The works will be staggered over the two weeks – taking place during the day and the evenings.

As a result, during the clean up there will be lane closures – with Wrexham Council advising motorists to leave plenty of time for your journey.

Earlier this year it was announced that a clean-up of the verges along the roads was on the cards, with local Councillor Debbie Wallice describing them as being in an “awful state”.
