Wrexham town centre was full of early Christmas shoppers yesterday afternoon.

There was a noticable increase across all areas of the town centre on Saturday afternoon as Christmas shoppers descended into the Wrexham.

A number of shops were full of customers, many of which appeared to be looking at gifts and Christmas cards,

We popped down to Island Green as well where there was also a lot of footfall, with many shoppers taking a break in the newly opened Costa Coffee.

We also spotted some Christmas trees for sale outside the Covent Garden fruit and veg shop on Henblas Street.

Eagles Meadow also reaped the benefits of early Christmas shoppers, with sizable queues in many of the shops. This was particularly the case in Boots, where there were long queues at the till and shoppers who were crowded around the gift section of the store.

Hopefully the increase of footfall in the town will continue at this level or increase further in the rundown to Christmas!
