Young residents living in Rosehill, Brynteg, gave their estate a spring clean for Easter with a litter-pick organised by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association.
The event was supported by the Association of Voluntary Organisations in Wrexham (AVOW) and by the Keepmoat Construction Group.
After giving their local community a spring clean the children took part in an Easter egg hunt.
Louise Blackwell, Community Development Officer for Clwyd Alyn, said: “We’d like to especially thank Tegan Sollis from AVOW for her assistance in helping to secure a £200 Youth Service Strategy Grant enabling us to organise a number of events in the local community, and also Liz McCloskey from Keepmoat who also helped on the day providing refreshments and treats for those taking part.
“It was a real community effort with Clwyd Alyn Housing Officer Sarah Faire helping out with all the arrangements both for the litter-pick and for the Easter Egg hunt where laminated tokens were hidden around the area that children could then swap for Easter Eggs.”
