The business advisory firm Daniel Butters and Adrian Berry of Deloitte have today been appointed as Joint Administrators to Atmosphere Bars and Clubs, the company that operates Chicago’s in Brook Street.

Atmosphere Bars and Clubs manage 24 licensed premises across England and Wales including; 19 Chicago’s Bars, three Modello bars and two nightclubs. The business operates from Milton Keynes and has 75 full-time and 418 part-time employees.

Daniel Butters, Joint Administrator and Partner at Deloitte, said: “Unfortunately, as a consequence of cash flow problems, the decision was taken by the directors of Atmosphere Bars and Clubs to place the company into administration.

“We are continuing to trade the business and all venues remain open whilst seeking a sale as a going concern.”

Atmosphere Bars and Clubs was acquired from The Luminar Group in February 2010, the previous owners of Chicago’s and Liquid.
