Sometime during the early hours of Monday, September 22, the Bryn Howel Hotel in Trevor, Llangollen, was subject of a burglary during which the hotel’s safe was stolen.

The safe contained cash and valuable items and was found yesterday evening in the Trevor area. It is now subject of forensic examination.

Detective Sergeant Tony Underhill: “Our inquiries are continuing and I appeal to anyone who has information relating to the incident or who may have seen any suspicious activity in the vicinity of the Bryn Howel Hotel to contact me or my colleagues at St Asaph CID.”

“We are also calling on the help of the public to identify the two individuals who were captured on CCTV. Anyone with information should call us on 101 quoting reference number R149973.”
