‘Cattle Trailer’ Crash Closes A483 Bypass Northbound

Update 7:30pm: The A483 Wrexham Bypass has now reopened.

Original Story: The A483 Wrexham bypass is currently closed northbound from the Sainsburys roundabout due to a vehicle incident.

From our vantage point it appeared a police car had suffered a nearside impact.

The incident occurred around 5:30pm and is believed to involve a cattle trailer that has overturned.

Early reports from people passing the scene have also referred to other vehicles involved, with one off the road and an impact on the central barrier.

Two others have been in touch to say they believe there has been a collision involving what looks like a police vehicle.

Another said they had seen sheep on the road.

Due to the incident traffic has been affected on the bypass and surrounding roads.
