Cat Deliberately Shot And Wounded In Wrexham

North Wales Police are appealing for information after a cat was deliberately shot and wounded in Wrexham.

The incident occurred in the Sherwell Avenue area of Wrexham on May 15 between 8 and 8.15pm. It is believed an air weapon was used to shoot the cat three times. The pet animal sustained serious injuries which are being treated by a vet.

Anyone with information is asked to call North Wales Police on 101 quoting incident number RC14072688.

This is the second reported incident to take place in the past few weeks, RSPCA Cymru appealing for information after a cat was shot in the face with a pellet gun in Wrexham last month.
