Each candidate has been invited to make a written statement as well:

“I’m very proud to come from Wrexham and am passionate about delivering the best for our town. I’m standing for a party that will always put the people of Wales first. Plaid’s values are genuinely different, we don’t answer to any Westminster elite or pander to corporate interests.

We need a strong voice in Westminster now more than ever to demand the best for Wrexham and the best for Wales and I’ll put all my energy into making sure we get it.

Plaid Cymru MPs will be part of a powerful new bloc of MPs after this election and will work with our sister party the SNP in Scotland and the Greens in England to form an anti cuts Alliance, and may even hold the balance of power.

The London parties have voted for more cuts, but the truth is that austerity has failed.

There is an alternative – instead of attacking the most vulnerable, we will demand a different approach which tackles tax evasion and tax avoidance.

We will scrap wasteful spending such as £100 billion for the renewal of Trident, and will invest in infrastructure to grow the economy.

This is our chance to make sure Wales is heard.”

As the videos come out we would encourage you to share them to as many people as possible, analyse and discuss the content and hopefully get people to take part and vote in the election!
