Car Failing To Stop In Coedpoeth Prompts Early Hour Police Search

Residents in Coedpoeth saw a large police search take place in the early hours of this morning.

Around 3-3:30am residents reported the NPAS helicopter above the area, with others reporting ‘screeching tyres’.

Cath told us, “Several police cars were going up and down Heol Glyndwr with the police helicopter above for approximately 25 minutes.

Others reported police officers conducting searches on foot by torchlight.

This morning North Wales Police told us a Peugeot 206 had failed to stop for police during the early hours for Wrexham officers.

They confirmed a search for the vehicle took place, using the helicopter, mainly in the Coedpoeth are area.

Police said “The vehicle was located and seized. No arrests.”
