Car Drives Through Window On Yale Campus

A window at the ‘Rendezvous’ restaurant on Yale College’s town centre campus was smashed last night when a vehicle drove through the front of it.

The damage is currently being repaired and glass being swept up. The restaurant had to cancel a lunchtime booking of around forty people as a result of the incident.

Unrelated to the Yale incident, another window was smashed at Wild About Hair salon on Hill Street. Police were notified at 8:40am and are now investigating and act of criminal damage.

There was damage to the salon earlier in the week, however there is currently nothing linking the two attacks.
