Video: Car Destroyed in Early Morning Arson Attack in Rhosymedre

A vehicle has been destroyed after being set alight by arsonists in the early hours of this morning.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident on High Street, Rhosymedre shortly after midnight.

One crew from Johnstown used one breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the blaze.

The owner of the vehicle has told us told the arson attack took place near their family home and that it took nearly two hours to extinguish the fire.

A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the vehicle sustained 100% fire damage and that the blaze had been started deliberately.
