Fire crews were called to Erddig Road this morning where a car had been set alight.

The incident occurred just before 5am this morning with the vehicle totally destroyed in the fire.

The hedge to the left of the car was also subject to fire damage, a hedge that has also previously been damaged in similar circumstances.

As of 9:15am recovery was on scene to remove the vehicle.
