Calling all knitters and crocheters across Wrexham! St Giles Parish Church is looking for people to help them create a truly unique and memorable display for the autumn.

Members of the public are being invited to crochet or knit poppies, which will feature in a remembrance display that will be on show during October and November.

Plans for the poppy display were first unveiled during June’s Town Centre Forum, with it explained at the time that around 10,000 would be needed to create the display at the far end of the church and next to the town’s war memorial.

Fancy getting involved or know someone who could knit the poppies? Simply contact [email protected] for further details.

Poppies for the display can be handed in at St Giles Parish Church, Wrexham.
