Dementia Friendly Wrexham have organised a Memory Walk at Chirk Castle to unite against dementia.

Clare Roberts, secretary of the group from Wrexham, is calling on people to unite against dementia at the event on Saturday 9th September 2018 in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.

The walk will take place at Chirk Castle and will begin at 11am from the main car park.

Clare explained: “Each pound raised will help Alzheimer’s Society provide information and support, improve care, fund research and create long lasting change for people affected by dementia.

“We are calling on family, friends – and four-legged supporters – to unite against dementia this autumn. Walk with us at Memory Walk and help with our fight against dementia”

Places can be booked via the Dementia Friendly Steering Group using their e-mail address [email protected].

A sponsor form will be sent with the unique reference number on it or one can be collected from Wrexham Museum.

If you can’t make it the Memory Walk, it is possible to sponsor those taking part here.
