Brymbo residents are being urged to remain vigilant following reports of ‘doors being tried’.

In a series of tweets, PCSO Tim Edwards said there have been reports in Brymbo, particularly on Cheshire View, of unknown suspect/s trying doors.

PCSO Edwards urged residents to be vigilant and to keep doors and windows locked at all times.

In recent weeks there have been similar reported of people trying doors elsewhere across Wrexham, including Johnstown, Garden Village, Smithy Lane and Borras.

Over the weekend a house on Ty Gwyn Lane was broken into – with two mountain bikes and jewellery amongst some of the items taken from the property.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious or has any further information is advised to contact North Wales Police on 101.
