A car has been left damaged after unknown offenders threw a brick at the moving vehicle.

The incident, which took place yesterday, happened while the car was travelling past the Nine Acre field on Chester Road.

The car has been left dented and scratched as a result.

Fiona, who was in the car, got in touch with us via Facebook to warn others of the incident saying: “I just hope no one gets hurt badly as it could have caused a bad accident”.

The group who were involved are described as being aged around 15 years old, with one wearing a yellow top or coat, and another wearing a red beanie style hat.

We are told the police were informed about the incident and conducted a search to find the culprits.

As usual, anyone with any information is encouraged to call the police via the 101 number.
