Those applying or looking to renew their Blue Badges are being urged to make sure their applications are dealt with through the correct websites.

Wrexham Council have issued a warning this afternoon about a website offering assistance with Blue Badge applications for a fee of £57 via Bing and Yahoo search engines.

They say people “should be aware this is not connected with the Blue Badge Scheme and you should only use the free site or directly to local authorities to apply for a blue badge.”

If you have already been affected by this you should contact Citizens Advice Consumer Service on 03454 040506 or online.
