Tomorrow’s bin collection will take place as per the normal calendar but only black bins should be put out along with recyclables.

Collections will only take place where it is safe to do so.  Starting Monday of next week, black bins and recyclables only will be taken.

If you are due for a green bin collection please replace it with your black bin.  No bags will be taken for health and safety reasons.  At the moment it is expected for bin collections to return to the usual Calendar on 8 April.

Over the weekend Winter maintenance crews will continue to work to keep highways clear and continue snow clearance in particularly badly affected areas.  In some areas crews are even having to check there are no abandoned cars under the snow before they can clear it.

Every resource available to has been used and outside companies have been bought in to assist with the snow clearance.
