Wrexham Council is encouraging residents to take part in recycling week.

Over the next seven days, people can bring their recyclable waste to any of the Council’s three household waste recycling centres rather than binning it.

Items that can be recycled at the Centres are electrical items, textiles, wood, hard plastics, garden waste, cartons, tyres, scrap metal, batteries including car batteries, TV’s, white goods and rubble.

Waste Strategy Officers will be on hand to answer any questions during “Recycle Week”.  They will be in Plas Madoc on the morning of 17 June, in Brymbo on the morning of 21 June and on Wrexham Industrial Estate on the morning of 22 June.

As a thank you for continuing to support the Recycle with Michael residents can take home two free bags of compost.  People are advised to bring their own bags and a shovel.
