Bike Thefts & Crime Summary

Over the last 48 hours we have been notified of various activity in and around Wrexham, below is a round up.

On Friday afternoon local residents on Talbot Road got in touch with details of several police cars and what appeared to be sniffer dogs entering a property. One local resident told us that they do not believe any arrests took place, nor any items seized. One resident sent us the above picture from Friday afternoon.

Sgt Paul Wycherley of North Wales Police also reported that two thefts from vehicles had been reported around Wrexham. One was theft of money off a seat and another was theft of a sat nav system from the windscreen.

Last night a silver ‘Giant Trance X3’ mountain bike was stolen from an address in Summerhill.

Yesterday morning we were told of garages in Earnest Parry Road, just off Cefn Road in Caia, suffering break ins around 1am.

One reader from Buckley has asked us to highlight the theft of these two bikes overnight:

The reader told us “North Wales Police are aware and the crime number RC13140808”, with anyone with information encouraged to call the police on 101.

Just under a week ago thieves stole an Apollo ‘x rated’ black and grey mountain bike with a black coded lock wrapped around the handle bars from the front garden of a house in East Avenue, Rhosddu sometime between 6pm and 6.45pm on Monday (August 19). The bike’s rear brake is held together by cable ties. Anyone with information again are encouraged to call police on 101 with Reference number RC13137115.
