Fire crews last night tackled a blaze at a barn in Marford.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Hoseley Lane at around 7:30pm last night. It was reported around 20 firefighters were present tackling the fire.

Three crews from Wrexham and a fourth from Johnstown were in attendance.

When we popped down to the scene shortly after 8:30pm, there were several firefighters still at the scene along with an incident support unit from Rhyl on the road.

A number of fire engines were still near the barn with one firefighter directing traffic down the lane.

There were no flames visible from our vantage point, and with the damp mist in the area this evening it was hard to distinguish between smoke and the mist.
