Police have said they are aware of reports of bloody footprints on part of Ruthin Road yesterday morning.

Several people got in touch with Wrexham.com to say they had seen ‘weird footprints’, “There were footprints that looked barefoot. They looked like blood. Some had drops of blood by them.”

The footprints were at the east end of Ruthin Road near to the railway bridge, and are described as being visible for around half a mile out of town.

Police have confirmed they were aware, and the person involved later attended the Accident and Emergency department at the Maelor Hospital.
