Wrexham’s Christmas Village is set to close early tonight due to the bad weather.

The three day event, which is taking place on Llywn Isaf / Library Field, was due to remain open until 8pm tonight.

However NWP Wrexham Town say that due to the bad weather the village will close at 6:30pm in the interests of the safety involved.

The village will reopen tomorrow morning at 10am and remain open until 4pm.

Despite today’s chilly conditions and heavy rain, visitors have braved the weather to enjoy the festive offering – with more positive feedback about the town’s first Christmas Village.

Parking will also be free again tomorrow in all council owned car parks after 10am.
