Following many hours of planning and rehearsing the annual performing arts Winter Show was recently held at Theatre Iâl, Coleg Cambria.

The production provides all students across the course the opportunity to come together to perform and display the fantastic work achieved during the first term at college.

The show includes pieces of dance, drama and song by learners from the BTEC Performing Arts (Level 1, 2 & 3) course, BTEC Music Performance, A Level Theatre Studies and A Level Music.

Technical elements of the performances were designed and applied by the BTEC Live Events students.

Staff from the Performing Arts Department said: “We are extremely pleased and proud of the work that has developed through the rehearsal process. Students have displayed excellent technical skills in all disciplines of the performing arts.

“They have committed to their roles in a professional manner which reflects their enthusiasm for this subject area’

“The winter showcase is a great opportunity to celebrate the work of the learners attending Coleg Cambria and an opportunity for family and friends to share their successes.”
