Three people have been arrested following a series of drug raids in Wrexham this morning.

Throughout the morning Town Centre Inspector Paul Wycherely and Community Sergeant Wesley have been live tweeting a series of drug warrants that were executed this morning.

Early this morning Inspector Wycherley tweeted Wrexham.com to say: “Early morning drugs warrants being executed now, drugs recovered, arrests made, reassurance to community #yousaidwedid”

Officers were briefed at 6am this morning before visiting properties on Clwyd Wen, Coed Aben, Pentre Gwyn and Southleigh Drive.

Sgt Williams also tweeted Wrexham.com the following photos of the warrants being executed – which quite possibly have some of the best hashtags we have seen on Twitter!

Inspector Wycherley later tweeted Wrexham.com to say: “Three prisoners so far from this morning’s drug warrants, more are planned for the near future as well #yousaidwedid”

Sgt Williams also tweeted: “A big thank you to all involved in the warrants @wrexham and the Special Constables for giving up their time #thankyou”
