Just after 4pm Wrexham.com was in Hightown and saw the police helicopter circling the area:

Another resident has said they observed dog units along with marked police attending the incident, with one house remaining taped off.

North Wales Police have said a man was arrested just before 4:30pm, and the injured female sustained ‘non-life threatening injuries’.

Witnesses are encouraged to call police on 101.
