Aqueduct Inn fundraiser for Wales Air Ambulance

The Aqueduct Inn in Froncysyllte have raised hundreds of pounds for the Wales Air Ambulance thanks to the pub’s monthly quiz.

Regulars at the quiz recently Alyson Winn from the charity with a cheque for £300 for the charity at the weekend.

Quiz organiser Keith Sinclair said, “Thank you and well done to all those who have taken part in the quizzes this year.

“The next quiz will be on Sunday 26th January and our chosen charity for 2020 is the Froncysyllte Community Centre.”

Wales Air Ambulance is an all Wales charity providing emergency air cover for those who face life-threatening life illness or injuries.

The charity needs to raise £6.5 million every year to operate the service.

It raises all the funds required for the day-to-day running of missions, with each mission costing £1500 on average.
