Appeals Launched Following Bike Theft, Burglary and Criminal Damage

A series of separate public appeals have been issued following the theft of a mountain bike, a burglary and damage caused to vehicles.

Burglary in Cherry Dale Road

The first appeal has been launched in relation to a burglary in the Cherry Dale Road area of Broughton, where an Audi vehicle was taken.

A male, wearing a puffer jacket, was seen pushing the Audi down the road. The incident took place around 11pm on February 1st.

Theft of Mountain Bike

A second appeal for information has been launched after unknown offender/s have attended at Hill Court Hightown overnight and stolen Male GT Mountain bike from a rear garden.

The bike is described as having a white frame with GT in red and blue on the frame itself. It has metallic blue bull bars and no mudguards.

Attempt to Enter Garage

Police are also appealing for information following an attempt to enter a garage in the Talwrn Road area of Coedpoeth. The incident took place overnight of 1st/2nd February. A padlock was forced to a gate leading to the rear of the property, and an attempt was made to enter the garage.

Police would like to remind residents if garage windows are not frosted it is advisable to cover them with something to restrict the view inside. Also, please ensure garages and sheds are left secure. Police would like to urge residents to report any suspicious persons, or activity to them as soon as possible.

Damage to Vehicle

Police are appealing for information after an unknown offender has used an unknown sharp implement to scratch the paintwork from the front to the rear offside in a line on a secure and unattended vehicle. The incident occurred in the Ffordd Powys area between 1600 hrs on 5th February and 1000 hrs on 6th.

Damage to Vehicle

Police are appealing for information after damage was caused to the windscreen of a vehicle in the High Street area of Caerwgrle. The incident occurred between 2200 hrs on 7th February and 1800 hrs on 8th February.
