An appeal has been launched to help trace the local relatives of a man who died at his home in South Wales earlier this month.

The body of Gwilym John Jones, 66, who was a retired Merchant Seaman was found at his home in Tawe Avenue in Swansea on September 24.

Gwilym was born in Wrexham on December 16 1949.

Although he has some family locally, South Wales Police would like to appeal to further family members believed to live in the Wrexham area to ensure they are informed of the funeral arrangements.

If you are related to the Gwilym, or have any information about his family circle, please contact South Wales Police on 101 quoting reference number: 1600368736
