UPDATE: The roundabout has fully reopened, with Oswestry police noting that the boat owner was located nearby, adding “No it wasn’t @JimBowen’s 🚤” after a range of social media comments making various Bullseye jokes!

The Gledrid roundabout is down to one lane this afternoon due to an unusual blockage.

Oswestry police published the above picture of a boat that is blocking the inside lane on the roundabout.

Police asked, “Any one missing a boat? A5 Gledrid roundabout down to one lane. Please take care.”

As of 3:30pm recovery was enroute.

There are currently some minor queues, mainly southbound, due to the incident.
