An appeal for information has been launched following a break-in at a town centre shop in the early hours of this morning.

The theft at Ragazzi designer clothes store on Eagles Meadow / Yorke Street was reported to police at 4:47am this morning.

It is believed that a window at the store was smashed, with shoppers telling us they saw glass on the floor earlier today. When Wrexham.com visited Eagles Meadow earlier it appeared that repair work was taking place.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police confirmed that clothes had been stolen from the premises.

Police are appealing for anyone with information connected to the incident to call them on the 101 number, quoting reference number V095860.
