Appeal For Information Following Serious Collision In Wrexham

Police are appealing for information following a serious collision in Wrexham last night.

Officers were alerted at 9.09pm to the collision on Cefn Road  last night. As a result of the collision two passengers sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.

A white Ford Transit is believed to have left the road and overturned.

Police and Ambulance Service attended the scene and the injuries sustained although described as serious are not believed to be life threatening.

The road was closed for a time and re-opened just after 1.15am this morning.

A 26-year-old man is currently in custody having been arrested on suspicion of aggravated UTMV (Unauthorised taking of motor vehicle) and dangerous driving.

Officers investigating the collision are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to contact Road Policing Unit at Deeside on 101. Alternatively, individuals can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously with information on 0800 555 111.
