Original Story: Police are blocked access to Y Wern, just off Queensway in Caia this evening after an incident. PCSO’s manned a cordon of yellow police tape preventing access to Y Wern, with some flats inside the cordon taped off via a further cordon.

Five police cars were at the scene, and latterly police forensic teams have turned up at the address.

Locally people are been told it is a response to a ‘very serious incident’ and that it is likely access around the area is going to be out of bounds for some time. The cordon was finally lifted later in the evening, with it believed one man was taken to hospital as a result of the incident.
