An appeal for information is being made following a ‘fail to stop’ collision in the Wrexham area yesterday evening.

At 6pm on Tuesday 10 January 2017 police received a report via the Ambulance Service of a collision on the A525 Talwrn Green crossroads in Bangor-on-Dee whereby a Land Rover Discovery was discovered on its side in the road.

The male driver of the Discovery was taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. It is believed the Land Rover swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle which subsequently failed to stop.

Investigating officer, PC Gareth Roberts said: “The driver of the other vehicle may be unaware of what happened, however we are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the incident, or to anybody who may have been travelling along the A525 prior to the collision to come forward.”

Police have no details regarding the other vehicle.

Anybody with information is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference number V004414.
