Appeal Following Collision On Wrexham High Street

An appeal has been launched following a collision on the Wrexham High Street.

Police investigating a collision on the High Street in Wrexham are appealing for help in trying to trace the driver of the vehicle and witnesses.

The driver of the car is believed to have initially stopped following the incident at around 9.20am on Thursday, April 17, outside Yates Bar. The black car – possibly a BMW- was reversing when it is believed to have collided with an elderly pedestrian who was crossing the road. The driver stopped and spoke to the victim however no details were exchanged.

The victim, a woman, sustained injury which is not believed to have been life threatening.

Officers are keen to trace the driver and are urging the driver and anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to contact PC2995 Whiteley or his colleagues at Wrexham police station on 101 quoting reference number RC14056997.
