This coming Sunday (21st July) sees Wrexham Cemeteries and Crematorium Service come together to welcome everyone to their Annual Remembrance Service at Pentrebychan Crematorium beginning at 2pm.

The service, which will be led by local funeral celebrant Joy Atkinson, welcomes people of all faiths and beliefs giving them the opportunity to share together in an informal service comprising a mixture of traditional readings and hymns with modern poetry and music for reflection.

During the service, which has presented this opportunity of remembrance to families for many years, there will be a candle lighting ceremony while the grounds and Books of Remembrance will be available for viewing.

It has been described to us “as a lovely chance in the crematoriums beautiful grounds for people to have a focal point to remember loved ones lost not only within the last twelve months but over many years, as best proved by the regular attendance of familiar faces over the passing years”.

The Crematorium Office will also be open from 12 noon for anyone who would like information or to discuss matters on cremation.

For further information please contact the Crematorium Office 01978 292050 or email [email protected]
