An annual exhibition will showcase work created by final year art and design students at Glyndŵr University.

A Private View opening of this year’s Final Year Degree Show, Burning Bright, takes place at the North Wales School of Art and Design, Regent Street, Wrexham, from 6pm to 9pm on Friday May 22.

Works on show cover the entire portfolio of courses and disciplines taught at the art school – applied arts; animation, visual effects and game art; fine art; film and photography; graphic design and multimedia; illustration, graphic novels and children’s publishing.

Professor Estelle Thompson, head of the division of media, arts and design, said: “The work produced by the students speaks for itself and we wish them every success for a bright future.”

The exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday from Monday May 25 to Wednesday June 10.
